Eric holds a Master’s degree in Bassoon Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and has studied with performers such as Shawn Mouser, now a member of the LA Philharmonic, Beth Giacobassi, a member of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, and Ted Soluri, now principal bassoon of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. During his time at UWM as a member of the UWM Wind Ensemble, he was among a small group of performers featured in the CBDNA 2013 Conference in Greensboro, NC for the Alec Wilder piece, “Kindergarten Flower Pageant: Octet no. 24.” Eric has performed with various groups including the Kettle Moraine Symphony, Racine Symphony, Sheboygan Symphony and the Oconomowoc Chamber Orchestra. Additionally, he volunteers as a performer with local volunteer bands and orchestras depending upon availability and is available as a private teacher or tutor upon request.
